Read OPEN MIC: Reflections of the Street part 1 Page 5

Gave you doe if you was short and occasionally layed you

And this is the reverence you demonstrate

I bet you was happy when your girl said she was two weeks late

At this moment I feel much detest

Thought I was your alter ego but I see you treated me like the rest

You infringed me like a parole officer

And at this point in time I have much resentment - I’m germy and I’m coughin’ on ya

I never said it but you claimed in your life I was the best

Never failed. Every time you came over tried to get me to undress

  You’re a fabricator

Why’d you front for me, I wasn’t trying to be with you like that - I wasn’t trying to date ya

My whole beef is that you lied

A friendship we have no more, you made that shit curl up like a salted slug and die

And you still say you love me? Fuck you

Better be glad I ain’t a foul bitch or I woulda stuck you

About the situation I was cool

Ain’t tell your girl nothin’ - I kept shit in tact for you

  I could’ve told your girl you’re a lying individual

I could’ve blew your whole shit up - wouldn’t nobody be fuckin’ wit’ you

  And you had the nerve

Telling me not to be with nobody else and show ‘em my curves

But you got a girl - hittin’ it raw, breakin’ her back

Wit’ your bum ass rap. You corny to me right now, your forehead’s readin’ WACK

Now you’re trying talk to me like you care?

You can’t come in my house no more. - if you wanna talk we outside down the block somewhere

If you wanna converse about this - I don’t wanna hear nothin’

You’re not trusted - Regardless of what you say - from this point on I’ma feel that you bluffin’

  Silence is the best castigation

Ain’t gon ask you shit - I’m not the type for interrogatin’

Don’t even mention my name again to your homies

And if I see you on the street, walk on by as if you don’t know me

Because this woman has had enough and there’s nothing you can do

Because you just proved to me that niggas ain’t shit and I can never trust you

  POETIC THOUGHT

Just be honest. Many people today engage in meaningless sexual relations commonly known as physical friends or friends with benefits. If that was established in the beginning there’s no reason to deny dealing with other people or to act as if you are not or won’t.

In this text a “nigga” is someone male or female with a non-progressive, stagnant, deceitful, bum ass mentality which can fall into any “race” classification!

  THE NERVE

If ever given the opportunity - I’d pry your mouth open, pull my pants down and take a shit

Just one of the more friendlier thoughts when I think of how you violated

It’s comin’ back to you, may not be in the same form but it’s gonna fuck you up regardless in any sense

And don’t be surprised if it comes through one of your so-called best friends

It’s not a threat, more of a guarantee

That you gon be shitted on tremendously for your act of indecency

Have no respect for you - so how can you respect others?

In another woman’s house, in another woman’s bed, underneath another woman’s covers?!

Fuck gettin’ boned - need to be taken out back and stoned

Stripped of every single particle you may own

It just burns me to think bitches is that nasty and have the audacity

There’s no words to describe your lowly character and how ghastly

How you think you respect yourself is a fuckin’ mystery

Claimin’ to be this and that - frontin’ for these bum ass niggas who frontin’ for you on these streets - need to be heat seeked

I wouldn’t let you attempt to speak, wouldn’t wanna hear your voice

Made your bed and layed in mine - that was your worst fuckin’ choice.

  POETIC THOUGHT

If you are someone, male or female who has done something as disrespectful as to knowingly step foot in another man or woman’s home, you deserve what ever the laws of 360* brings or has brought to you. And if you are someone who has thought of or would do something like this, just keep in mind that day can and may very well be the last day of your life. As I stated earlier in the book - crimes of passion ain’t no joke!

  THANKS

  Thanks for saying “Fuck You”

Readied me for the streets, caused me to lace up my combat boots

Thanks for saying “you ain’t shit”

Made me think about how much towards myself I began to remiss

Thanks for saying “ain’t nobody gon want you”

Made me look in the mirror and say fuck everybody else, I love me and I do

Thanks for saying “I’ll bash your fuckin’ brains in”

Caused me to get a nine and keep it off safety just in case someone steps to me wit’ that bullshit again

Thanks for saying “I don’t need you, I got mad bitches on my dick”

Caused me to reflect within and by the way I hope your man be protected - nuff chicks walkin’ ‘round here vaginally sick

Thanks for saying “I wanted to leave you a long time ago”

Made me realize how good people are at putting on shows

Thanks for saying “you’re stupid, you’re retarded, you’re incompetent”

Just caused me to regain what I saw I was losing… my confidence

Thanks for saying “I don’t respect you”

Caused my posture to straighten, speak loudly and demand what’s due

Thanks for saying “I’m fuckin’ somebody else”

Gave me the push needed to focus on myself… making sure in all areas I excel

Thanks for saying “you’re a bum”

That statement bothered me none, ‘cause I’m not the one for high fashion

Thanks for exposing my personal business

Just further confirmed the fact that I should always keep my lips zipped

Thanks for turning your back on me, all it did was strengthen me

Force me to strive towards the goals I’ve always seen

  POETIC REFLECTION

Many of us have experienced some form of put downs in our life whether it was or is by parents, relatives, so-called friends, spouses/partners/mates or bullies. Some experience it more than others however you should never let it cripple you to the point of immobility. Let it be a step on the ladder to your way to the top. As long as you believe and have faith in yourself the whole world could be against you and it wouldn’t matter. There are people whose parents tell them they “ain’t never gon be shit”, that they’re stupid and they’ll never be wanted by anyone while others may hear it from so-called friends or even their mate. If you don’t contradict any capable mentally damaging statement silently in your mind or verbally to the individual who made the statement, at the moment it is said, it will begin to chip away at your soul thus causing you to eventually believing it and letting go of your aspirations and goals. Only allow those around you that encourage you, compliment you and tell you the truth not to be mean or vengeful but to help you to develop and improve your traits/talents/qualities.

  DON’T JUDGE

I have no money, no job, no home, no food

If you ain’t avoidin’ me you look at me and treat me like shit and wonder why to you I may be rude

Like I ain’t got enough issues weighing down on my shoulders

Like as a youth I didn’t daydream about what I was going to be when I got older

Now here you are in my face passing judgment, scrutinizing

You don’t know my circumstances - you don’t know if my job was down sizing

You don’t know if my hous
e caught a blaze

You don’t know if my childhood was fucked up and got me walking around in a daze seeing life as a daily inescapable maze

Maybe I got a drug problem I’ve been unable to overcome

And it don’t help being sent to a counselor who in his life ain’t never tried one

Perhaps I was just released from the pen

Nobody’s hiring an ex-con so I’m forced to the block on the corner again

So don’t pass judgment on what you know not

And never think that your shit is so sweet that it can’t get got in one shot

  POETIC REFLECTION

Many people are quick to criticize or pass judgment on another while having no basis. That’s when “if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all” should be exercised. We live in a hypocritical society where we teach “it doesn’t matter what anyone thinks, do what makes you happy or what you want to” then see someone and comment either under your breath or out loud ensuring the person hears you… every moment you spend thinking about and criticizing others is a moment taken away from focusing on yourself. Some of the most in depth conversations can be had with those looked down upon in society… I’ve had some of the best and enlightening conversations with homeless people and drug addicts… IT’S NOT ABOUT THE PERSON BUT THE MESSAGE… LEARN TO OPEN YOUR MIND. Besides, they have first-hand knowledge of some of the things they speak on… REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE… NOT A DEGREE ON THESIS AND HYPOTHESIS, PROBABILITES OR STATISTICS… FIRST HAND ACCOUNTS.

  WHAT HAS THIS WORLD BECOME?

  What has this world become?

Buncha niggas try-na get funds even if it’s illegally usin’ their guns

  Buncha biches wit’ low standards

Half ass naked, thinkin’ they the best thing on candid

World full of screwed up morals

Got low chicks in high places givin’ orals

  A lot of gun interaction

A lot of ignorant muh-fuckas doin’ unnecessary hate bashin’

  A lot of deceit

A lot of fucked up baby mothers, so brothers keep those money order receipts

A lot of men who get comfortable and start lackin’

But the girl refuses to say fuck you and send that man packin’

  A lot of violence

Snipers on that ass so watch your back and keep your silence

Bunch of drug addicts teaching our students

And we wonder why this world is destined to be ruined

Where profanity, vulgarity, and nudity’s at fingertip access

Then wonder why your nine year old child is in the basement wit’ friends experimenting with sex

  B.C.W. is backwards

The ones so conveniently slipped through the cracks get killed, while the ones taken deserved the whoop they got on their asses

obvious they don’t want us to seek help with these high ass medical plans

And think - that doctor still gets paid if you slip through his hands

Ya’ll chicks better wake up and realize welfare won’t be here much longer

They don’t give a fuck you just gave birth and got a three week old daughter

Bunch of cops after brothers with persistence

Be locked up in an instant - you and your girl three hundred miles distant

One million Black people split in half, claimin’ live, choosin’ sides

And you always got that derrilick who’ll brawl wit’ niggas in their click try-na show they got pride and can ride

Bunch of “Illa Killa” niggas wit’ no fright

In the precinct wit’ no bail, light in the ass and tight for the night

Because they proved their manhood and pulled out their arms

Because they drank too much liquor and got excessively charmed

Females fightin’ over cheatin’ ass guys

Because that’s the first they’ve had wit’ a large size in which he uses to chastise

Brothers fallin’ for the “okey doke”

‘Cause shorty opened her legs after they smoked and let him poke

This world is full of deception

Niggas mad drugs ain’t flowin’ smooth these days because of police interception

Got chicks on the 41st side of Queens

Walkin’ up to cars on streets in thongs try-na get paid off their sacred things

So when people ask me since I’ve seen what this world has become, for the future what am I seein’?

All I can say is “I don’t know, I can’t call it - I’m just here for the time bein’”

There’s so much more I wanted include in this book however I didn’t want to keep everyone waiting so be on the look out for part two which is already done!
