Siex sat on the couch and looked at Mench and Ohgood and Ohgood asked,” Why are you sitting down?”

“ This is our elevator, have a seat,” said Siex as he patted the seat on either side of him.

“ You’re joking right, a couch?” asked Mench as a wry smile came across her face.

“ No. wait ‘til you try it,” said Siex slyly as he crossed his legs.

“ Alright, then tryin’ we shall,” said Ohgood as he grabbed Mench’s butt then raced over and sat down on the couch.

Mench laughed then she walked over and sat down and as she did the ceiling above them turned from steel to a clear liquid and the couch lifted up and thru it. Once thru they soared thru a green and blue tunnel of rings past floor after floor of the ship known as the Gephi. As they went there were tiny magenta and turquoise birds known as Gus that were the size of your hand and even they made an intricate song thru their eyes. Then the couch began to spiral left and upward thru a new tunnel of red and black rings that had dozens of paintings covering its walls.

“ This is fun, Siex, but when does it end I need a drink?” asked Mench honestly as she batted away the Gus.

Siex smiled and pointed upward where Mench and Ohgood saw a wall of flames that they were just about to burst thru and let out a pair of screams. Then they burst thru the holographic flames and came to rest in the massive head on top of the ship in warm and inviting living room slash command center. It had 3 levels accessible by a brown wooden staircase in the center of the room that had a hidden passageway beneath them that led to the escape pods. There were 6 black leather couches along the outside of the round room that each had different holograms of the area around the ship in front of them, as well as a green liquid statue of Siex and Mrath just beyond them in front of the stairs that were 30 feet high. There were five 20 foot control panels and super computers on the left that could control the entire ship from a simple black touch screen joystick no bigger than the palm of your hand. There was a perpetual red sunrise on the ceiling and the smell of freshly cut grass and alfredo pasta in the room. There was also a gun turret and gunnery seat on the right that could blast a pair of massive laser canons from the eyes of the head shooting 70 shots per second. The room was halfway filled with the surviving leaders of the various peoples on Permea that included Rinship, Burnrih, Paguis, Orbay, Poev, Tingue, Famaron, as well as Solcrist, Harci, Epam, Ratie, Ohgood, Mench and lastly Siex. They were milling about when Famaron said loudly,” Alright, everyone, listen up! We are about to be forced to fight for our lives! What I propose is this, we have to punch a hole thru the bulk of their forces to shatter their confidence and cause chaos in their ranks! Our ships on the perimeter are holding them for now, but it won’t last. So I say we use this ship and a dozen others as a battering ram with myself as the one who will take them on!”

“ How do you, Famaron, expect to do this you are but one?” asked Burnrih as he stepped forward and squinted at Famaron.

“ Good question, I have the Seav glasses, the staff of Simis, and a complete Laru to give me a force of Goarote they can’t subdue. I will fire spell after spell at an unbelievable rate as I prevent them from casting any. I may very well lose my life doing it, but I can’t live with the thought of them living.”

“ He’s right, it takes a sacrifice to create a thing worth having. I’ll join you, Famaron, because it matters to me,” said Ohgood boldly as he put his arm around Famaron and nodded to him.

“ It matters to all of us, I want to aid you on this ship. Life’s overrated anyway,” said Solcrist slyly as he grinned and spun his staff in his hands.

“ That goes for all of us we’re dead if we sit back and let it happen. Let’s burn those Sorplecs crispy,” said Rinship snidely as he clenched his fist and gave everyone a fierce look while he walked in front of everyone.

“ Then it’s settled, we rise or die together. I just hope you’re right, Famaron, because I like breathing, I always have,” said Epam slyly as he grinned.

“ I’d heard that about you. Then steer the ship for the bulk of the Sorplec army. Which looks like that mass there and then blast right thru them I’ll get us a shield,” said Famaron boldly as he pointed to a hologram of the Sorplecs and then hurried over and grabbed the staff of Simis and the Laru off the couch and then shouted,” Gie daltro sumop!”

Then the ship jostled back and forth and was soon covered in an impenetrable shield. Then Siex hit the jet thrusters and rocketed towards the Sorplecs.

Inside the 2 story living room on Banda’s back at the edge of Mobed sat Alovio and Pumrask on the front deck beside Bahrum in his golden throne as they watched the devastation from a safe distance.

“ Looks like we’re doing quite well, Alovio, they were foolish to try to escape,” said Pumrask as he sipped a small bottle of wine and smiled to himself.

“ Yes, my love, they won’t last long now. Then it will be the Sorplecs reign for a million years plus eternity. Fitting I say, I doubt they’d agree,” said Alovio snidely as she kissed Pumrask’s hand.

Then a moment later Bahrum laughed loudly as he watched a pair of Darpocks crash into a Mehelux and tear a gaping hole and then he said snidely,” There is no chance for these weak and gaudy wizards. They practice a magic suitable for children.”

Then Siex’s ship began riding right thru Sorplec ship after ship and demolishing them as he headed straight for Banda.

“ Bahrum, I see one of their ships has a foreign spell on it and is bearing down on us. What should we do?” asked Banda as she flapped her wings and let out a blood curdling Pracakien scream that echoed to the shores of the Bloodlet.

A Pracakien scream was a wizard’s first scream after he shouted his first spell that was part human part beast as tiny bits of magic attached to their vocal chords. This would happen periodically as a young wizard found their way thru different and more challenging spells. The Pracakien screams were collected at the edge of the Pormu river inside a series of 700 black marble caves. They then proceeded to create much of the magic needed for dragons inside purple and turquoise square glowing cases. The cases were protected by thousands of lost spells like Gragums and gargoyles. Above the caves sat the mansion of Pracakien Pattle, the last of the grand wizards. His home towered a quarter mile high and was square in shape with 10 massive black and red marble towers with lookouts on top. There was very little heard from Pracakien as he was a bit of a recluse and detested meeting people. Occasionally the skies would light up with a lavender dragon made of light and people suspected it was his handiwork.

“ Do nothing, it’s just some last gasp of their stupidity. They’ll have to do much better than a single ship to scare even my ankle hairs,” said Bahrum coldly as he laughed to himself and watched the Croul coming right at him smashing thru a dozen Sorplec ships and dragons unhindered by them and heading still for him.

“ This is true, Bahrum, it reeks of desperation. Why don’t they just roll over and die?” asked Pumrask snidely as he stood up and flashed a goofy grin.

“ They will soon enough,” said Alovio snidely as she punched her leg hard.

Meanwhile inside the Command center on the Croul everyone was watching Famaron cast spell after spell.

“ Formule ter whoca!” shouted Famaron as he raised the staff of Simis and glared at the Sorplecs.

Then a tunnel of blue and green swirling flames shot towards the left and right of them and burned the Sorplec’s ship to flames as well as their beasts like a giant Sarg and Darpock that were sliced into a dozen pieces.

“ It’s working, Famaron, you’re wiping them out!” yelled Ratie excitedly as she grinned and watched a Eogo man get his head decapitated by Famaron’s spell.

An Eogo man was a no legged 2 armed square belly purple skinned flying beast, that had a huge horned head and a laser canon le
ft eye. It also had a dozen missiles that it threw that would track down wizards by their magic signature and turn them to a ball of blood. The Eogo’s were over 400 feet tall and had 550 feet long wings.

“ She’s right they seem to be getting disorganized,” said Siex as he fired his laser canon and blew a gaping hole in a Sorplec Mehelux clean thru to the other side causing it to implode onto itself and burst into flames.

“ Pepis jojerk!” shouted Famaron as he raised his staff then lowered it and let out a sigh and said breathlessly,” I can see that, but they still outnumber us. We’ll have to hope the plan works cause I’m beat.”

Then a pulse of a red and yellow magic scramble which was a brainwave scrambler shot out in every direction and hit the surrounding Sorplecs head on. It penetrated some of their ships and sent many of them into a psychotic freefall. Many stopped fighting and began mumbling incoherently as their ships were suddenly being steered towards the ground by them.

“ I could take over for you if you need me,” said Ratie implying a question as she hurried over to Famaron and rubbed his back.

“ Ah, yeah you’d better my throat’s giving out. Use this list of spells here from the Laru they’ve worked most effectively. Here’s the staff,” said Famaron as he showed her the page from the Laru and handed her the staff of Simis.

“ Oh, the Seav’s,” said Ratie quickly.

“ Yes I almost forgot the most important item. Now how about I start firing off the missiles and see how much fun these Sorplecs are into,” said Famaron boldly then he grabbed the joystick and started firing every missile the ship had.

A spread of 2 dozen of the Gussy missiles launched and went full speed into the Sorplecs. As the Gussys drew near they burst and 50 smaller missiles shot at every dragon and ship in sight. When the

first Sorplec Mehelux was hit the inside filled with Palamans and a black ooze that melted the Sorplecs crew to their bones and those that survived were eaten by the Palamans. Another Sorplec Konno was hit and a thousand mini Zamtru’s filled every inch of it and started devouring every Sorplec in sight. 5 Zamtru’s overpowered one wizard and tore him limb from limb. Another had his head bitten in half by a Zamtru as he tried to escape.

“ Eenflec Nogod!” shouted Ratie as she looked out at the Sorplec fleet fiercely.

Then a group of 10,000 black 2 inch balls of magic appeared in front of the ship. Then they shot at unbelievable speed at all the Sorplecs and when they hit their ships they burst thru the walls and appeared on the inside as 7 Sargs wielding red machetes. The Sargs raced after every Sorplec near to them and started hacking them to pieces.

“ Well that spell should be fun for all involved,” said Ratie sarcastically as she smiled back at Ohgood.

“ OH yeah I bet they’re thrilled. I wonder how they’re enjoying the afterlife?” asked Ohgood slyly as he smiled at Ratie then realized Mench was standing beside him and he looked over and she gave him a wink and Ohgood smiled and said slyly,” Can we hurry this war up, I may get lucky.”

“ I’m workin’ on it right now,” said Famaron boldly as he fired a second round of Gussys as the ship blasted straight thru a Sorplec Mehelux shattering it into a million pieces.

Aboard Banda Alovio looked nervously on as Siex’s ship neared and she stood up and threw her glass of wine over the side then said nervously,” I feel like we should go now, Bahrum!”

Then Bahrum watched Siex’s ship crash thru 2 dragons and knock their riders off and then decimated a pair of Konno’s and said,” This is just a trifle. These fools can’t scare Bahrum, Bahrum scares them.

Let’s send them a message,” said Bahrum then he stood and glared at Siex’s ship and spun his staff above his head and thundered,” The warit is beyond this!”

Then a massive red storm cloud appeared in front of Banda and a pair of 150 foot long muscled arms extended out from it as well as a massive demon head appeared on top of it. Then the beast known as a Grator made a loud metallic sound that echoed for 100 miles. Then the Grator began reaching into the cloud and pulling out electrical swords and slicing wildly at Siex’s ship. The sword bounced on and around the ship and had no effect only slowed the ships progress.

“ Why isn’t it working, Bahrum?” asked Pumrask anxiously as he stood up and glared over at Bahrum.

“ I don’t know, it should’ve destroyed them. Banda, get us out of here!” said Bahrum frantically as he darted back inside the living room.

“ Not a problem,” said Banda then she flew up higher and higher so as to see everything unfold.

As she flew Siex’s ship just nearly missed hitting her as it passed and went right thru the Grator. The Grator dispersed as its arms and head fell to the ground.

Meanwhile inside the command center Mench and everyone were cheering as the ship burst thru the last of the Sorplecs leaving a large gaping hole of destruction in its path.

“ We’re havin’ fun now!” said Famaron boldly as he let out a yell and pumped his fist.

“ Now we need to swing around and do it again. I’ll also send word to the rest of the fleet to follow our path,” said Siex happily as he smiled from ear to ear.

“ This is wise, Siex, but there is much war to be yet. The Sorplecs are only stunned,” said Solcrist sternly as he thought of his late father Hars Gemlittle and the time he forced Solcrist to fight 4 boys all at once.

Hars was overjoyed at his son’s birth and angered by his life more and more that he grew, as he bore a physical resemblance to him, but acted solely like his mother. He became so angry he began to sabotage his young son’s dreams by acting ambivalent to all his successes and encouraging him only when he knew he would fail. Solcrist’s mother became ill when he was very young with a mental disorder known as Tosma, which caused her to pass from one dimension to the next inside her brain. Hars became more and more violent with his young son as he felt he was cursed and blamed him for the family’s many problems. Solcrist abandoned his father when he was in his mid thirties only to return many years later to cast a spell on him that caused him to relive the most painful moments of his life over and over all day long ‘til he died 15 years later.

The fleet followed the Croul thru the hole and an all out assault began on the stunned Sorplecs. The sky filled with thousands of spells and devastation. There were thousands of dead or dying as fire, smoke, and the ominous green sunlight sent shivers thru everyone’s bodies. Bahrum, Pumrask, and Alovio were at a safe distance watching it unfold.

“ This is why we waited, Bahrum, win or lose this day will be what we wanted,” said Pumrask coldly as he crushed his wine glass in his hand.

“ Which is?” asked Bahrum as he watched as the blood on Pumrask’s hand dried up and receded back into his hand.

“ A day of reckoning. I can take death, but not a prisoner’s life. We will see if we are favored today or if I was right about undoing god’s plan for us all,” said Pumrask coldly as he clenched his fist and shook violently.

“ God can’t keep us down another second! I say we get down there and mix it up with our brothers in arms. Banda find me a spot to kill from and find it now!” thundered Bahrum as his eyes glazed over.

“ I will find you a spot to make war from. Now it’s time for a murderous symphony!” shouted Banda then she let out a scream that sent a ring of flames out of her mouth and into a Mehelux of the Haborm.

Then Banda pulled back and then shot forward into the battle below.

Meanwhile in the Command center Famaron had the battleship turned around and was gearing up to smash another hole in the Sorplecs.

“ Hold on, Famaron, we may want to wait before we smash thru again. I mean look at all of our own ships in there,” said Ratie sternly as she looked at a hologram of the massive battle.

  “ Ah, well
you have a good point, but I can’t let a good battle go to waste. Why don’t you hand me the staff of Simis and I will try a little mayhem,” said Famaron slyly as he stood up off the couch and walked over to Ratie.

“ Try a shaking spell on those Sorplecs on the right side. They seem to be doing the most damage,” said Harci calmly as he spun in the air after casting a spell minutes earlier.

A shaking spell turns a person’s blood to stone and then shakes them to death. It was created by M. Bote Shaking in an accident when he uttered the wrong words to a spell. Bote was the last of the Koac wizards to use all forms of magic. He was also a believer in chain reaction emotions, where a person openly distraught, sad, or lonely, caused that emotion to pass from person to person to anyone near. Then said emotion could only stop by it eventually working its way back to the original person.

“ I think I’ll do just that, Harci, can someone hold these?” asked Famaron as he took off the Seav’s.

“ Why are you taking those off?” asked Mench quizzically as she took the Seav’s from Famaron and furrowed her brow.

“ They stopped working 20 minutes ago. So now they’re but decoration and who needs that,” said Famaron then he raised his staff and thought for a second then shouted,” Giniver socute!”

Then an oddly shaped trio of golden blades the size of a small house began flying in ellipsis towards the Sorplecs on the right. As they smashed into their dragons the dragons blood turned to stone and they seized up and plummeted to the ground below. The Sorplecs riding them also had their blood turn to stone and they shook so violently they burst open and a massive energy and stone blood shot out of them.

“ I wonder if it’s as fun as it sounds to have your blood turn to stone. I need to ask someone who’s had it done to them. Oh wait that’s right the sun’s green,” said Ohgood sarcastically as he put his hand to his own cheek and gently slapped it, then everyone laughed and Mench mimicked him.

“ It’s not as much fun as you’d think. I bet the dying part of it gets old real fast,” said Ratie sarcastically then she stomped the floor with her foot and let out a yell as Ohgood and Epam broke out laughing.

“ Hey look, there’s a giant dragon flying into the mix with 5 spells in front of it,” said Famaron as he pointed to Banda and the 2 massive red Sargs and 2 Grators and a green Dormag.

A Dormag was a green skinned 3 headed 5 armed winged beast that had one head of a python in the center and the other 2 were lions with golden manes. It had 2 large machine guns built into its chest that fired red blasts of dense and old magic that could do untold damage to any other spell that got in its way.

On the back of Banda Bahrum, Pumrask, and Alovio were cheering as their spells started destroying every Peom and all the others in sight. The Dormag was firing round after round from its machine gun and when the blasts hit one Haborm Mehelux it turned it into a pile of underwear and the crew fell helplessly on top of a dragon’s head and were eaten a second later.

“ This is a dream most real, Pumrask, and I wish not to wake!” said Bahrum boldly as he smiled from ear to ear and danced around joyously.

“ They should have never taken the battlefield today. Now they won’t have the chance to leave it. How ‘bout another spell for vengeance sake!” said Pumrask snidely then he gripped his staff tightly and thundered,” Pet goncrazy!”

Then a tiny green marble appeared in Pumrask’s hand and he smiled and threw it at a Dirki trio of ships. And when it got close as it fell thru the air, it morphed into a 200 yard tall Corvub and an 1800 yard tall black Darpock with swords of blue metal in their hands. The Corvub sliced thru the nearest Dirki ship with its sword and cut it in two as flames shot out of the wound and a pulse of red went up in the sky. The Darpock grabbed hold of the other Dirki ships in its claws and began chewing them to pieces as a purple magic poured out of its mouth and melted the crew. Then the Darpock shot a black stream from its eyes and melted a pair of round holes in a passing Mehelux.

“ This is glorious, Bahrum, we’re destined for a victory most kind!” said Alovio excitedly as she clapped her hands in front of her face.

“ This is true, now they are on the verge of surrender. And when they do we’ll pretend to agree to let them live. Then we’ll burn them to ashes and take over the galaxy. What a day for whimsy,” said Bahrum snidely as he could hardly contain his glee.

Then the Corvub grabbed a small Peom dragon and its 5 Peom riders and bit into its flesh around its neck and tore out a huge chunk. The dragon flailed wildly as a stream of blood shot out. Then the Peom riders tried to jump off and the Corvub caught one in its mouth and ripped it to pieces.

In the Command center Famaron watched as Pumrask’s spells were doing massive damage.

“ That large dragon and rider are throwing huge spells out. I think we need to go after them with the ship and right now!” said Famaron sharply as he looked at Siex and waited.

“ But we’re safe here that would put us in serious jeopardy. How can we do this?” asked Epam in a concerned tone as he walked over to Famaron.

“ Oh we can, we can and we’ll win the war. If we don’t it isn’t long before they hunt us down,” said Famaron firmly then he looked at everyone.

“ You’re right, burn them while we can I say,” said Burnrih as he sat back on the couch and pulled out a pack of cigarettes then lit one up with a hard fiery breath.

“ This is true, let’s chase them out of the sky,” said Harci boldly as he gripped his staff and gritted his teeth.

“ Then it’s settled, let’s go and say hello. I’d hate to be rude,” said Famaron boldly then he hit the jet thrusters and the ship shot forward.

They raced towards Banda smashing thru everyone in its path.

“ Ya know that dragon may be the leader of the Sorplecs,” said Ratie as she looked on.

“ Why would you think that, I thought I was the leader?” asked Ohgood sarcastically as he smirked slightly and pointed to Ratie’s left eye as she tried not to smile.

“ Well, because all the other Sorplecs are protecting that dragon, see look at that one there it just shielded her from a blast,” said Ratie as she pointed to Banda and a smaller one protecting her.

“ That’s a good point. Then if that’s true we can end this quick!” said Famaron boldly as he drove the ship straight thru a Sorplec Mehelux and fractured it into a million pieces.

As Siex’s ship drew near Banda a string of dragons and Sorplec ships moved in front of the ship as protection. Famaron drove over 5 dragons and crushed their bodies like a leather sack filled with beans. One after another Meheluxs and Konno’s got in their path and were destroyed. Then a trio of Sargs latched onto Siex’s ship and tried to crack the outer walls, but were unable.

“ What is that ship doing? Isn’t that the same ship from before?” asked Pumrask nervously as he looked wide eyed at Siex’s ship.

“ It is, they are plaguing us at every turn. We have to decide run or fight and quickly. What do you want to do?” asked Banda as she glanced back at Bahrum and flapped her wings.

Bahrum glared at Siex’s ship bearing down on them and thoughts of death raced thru his mind as he watched ship after ship be destroyed. Then he began to sweat and said softly,” we… we,” and then he shouted,” get me out of here, Banda, right now!”

Then Banda dove down just as the Croul was about to crash into them and was able to avoid being hit. Banda weaved in and out of the different ships and beasts as Bahrum, Alovio, and Pumrask held on for dear life. They flew down faster and faster until they were clear of all the destruction then Banda headed out over the Bloodlet until Bahrum yelled,” That’s far enough, Banda, let’s see how we fair.”

“ Of course,” said Banda then she slowed down and turned around to see if the
y were being followed.

“ It seems we’ve lost them,” said Alovio as she scanned the skies.

“ Yes it does nice, wait ah minute here they come again! Quickly, Banda, head out to sea!” said Bahrum frantically as his eyes darted over to Pumrask.

“ We will outrun them, Bahrum, I’ll give us a buffer,” said Pumrask calmly then he raised his staff and closed his eyes and shouted,” Clone eyes we ba!”

Then behind Banda appeared a river of purple dolls of fallen wizards that filled all the path behind them.

“ We’ve got them now, Famaron, they’re running petrified,” said Ohgood boldly as he smiled from ear to ear.

“ It would seem so, but what are those things floating behind them, they look like dolls?” asked Famaron softly as he squinted at the dolls.

“ Pull up immediately!” shouted Solcrist as his eyes grew wide.

“ It’s too late!” said Famaron boldly as he tried to pull up.

Then they crashed into the dolls and as they did each doll they hit exploded and turned into different spells like a massive 300 foot gargoyle that had a blue energy head as well as throw spells, that threw the Croul into uncontrolled spins and flips. The Croul did a massive roll as the gargoyle and dozen Sargs and Corvubs tried to shatter the outer shield with blow after blow. Then the gargoyle shot its energy head into the side of the ship and its body shrank to 9 feet tall inside the ship.

“ We need to get higher or we won’t survive this,” said Epam sternly as he watched the dozen spells bombarding the outside of the ship.

“ Yeah, I’m workin’ on it, but we’re taking on a lot of weight,” said Famaron sharply as he tried to shake the spells as the ship spiraled upward at half speed.

“ Work harder, or we’ll all be dead,” said Solcrist firmly as he tried to think of a backup plan.

“ Work harder, that’s great advice and it really helps,” said Famaron sarcastically as he steered up into the clouds.

“ There’s always the escape pods. We could all safely get away in them,” said Siex calmly as he began entering the unlocking mechanism in the escape pods to prepare them for flight and then said,” they’re ready to launch if we need them now.”

“ That’s comforting, but where are gonna escape to. The ship’s surrounded by spells. Boy do I need a vacation,” said Famaron as he gritted his teeth and steered thru a flock of Pem birds.

Pem birds were an offshoot of a genetic experiment where they were trying to do away with violent behavior. The medication they developed was put in a room temperature warehouse and when it melted inexplicably the birds drinking from a nearby stream consumed it. Then you had 2 headed glowing red 4 winged Pem birds, that also had a see thru chest that showed their black t shaped rapid beating hearts and small man racing around their ribcage.

Then in burst a gargoyle with a red glowing sword and Mench yelled,” We’ve got an intruder look out!”

Then Mench ran and kicked the gargoyle square in the chest and sent him sprawling onto the floor. The gargoyle sprung to its feet and swung its sword and cut a deep wound in Mench’s stomach.

“ I can help, Mench!” said Ohgood quickly as Mench clutched her bloody stomach and winced.

“ I’ve got this!” said Mench boldly then she pulled a dagger from under her dress and ran and did a flip and sunk her dagger mid air into the gargoyle’s head.

Then the gargoyle shook violently and Epam raised his staff and shouted,” Ceon unrise!”

Then in a flash the gargoyle was turned to a mass of golden marbles that scattered all over the floor and Epam said,” He was tiresome.”

“ Thank you, Epam, are we clear of them, Famaron?” asked Mench loudly as she clutched her bloody stomach and winced in pain.

“ We’re just about there, but you need to be taken care of. Ohgood, she needs a bit of medical magic,” said Famaron boldly as the ship did a barrel roll and the Sargs still gripped it tightly.

“ Then I’m a doctor, this will only hurt a lot, fair Menchy, so prepare to scream,” said Ohgood jokingly as he tried not to grin and grabbed his staff.

“ That’s comforting, Ohgood, lay it on me quick,” said Mench firmly as she removed her hand from the wound and then turned away.

“ Daus be the giver of life!” shouted Ohgood then a red and blue glow appeared on the palms of his hands.

Then Ohgood walked over to Mench and as he did a soft symphony could be heard coming from his hands playing a passionate piece.

“ Are you ready for the worst pain on Permea?” asked Ohgood as Mench looked away as she sweated and then Ohgood put his hands on her wound and the blood dried up and turned into tiny winged white flies that flew off and her wound glowed red and blue and completely disappeared.

“ Did it work, have you started yet?” asked Mench as she clenched her fist and winced.

“ It’s over take a look, gorgeous,” said Ohgood warmly then he patter her on the stomach and grinned.

Mench turned and looked at her stomach and saw it was back to normal and smiled and playfully touched Ohgood’s cheek and said happily,” Your list of talents are never ending, my love.”

“ Well the ones you can count,” said Ohgood slyly and Mench laughed.

“ We’re clear of the spells, but it looks they’ve gotten away,” said Famaron sternly as he looked for Banda.

“ Why do you say that?” asked Ratie perplexed as she sat down and grimaced.

“ Because they have, I can’t see them anywhere. I say we head back to the battle they may have gone there,” said Famaron implying a question as he scanned the horizon.

“ This is true, they are certainly there by now. Go ahead and turn the ship around,” said Epam as he pulled out a red liquid cigarette and began blowing red puffs of square smoke.

“ One step ahead of you,” said Famaron as he swung the ship around and let out a sigh.

When they swung around Ratie was the first to see the carnage as the sky was filled with floating death. There were millions of dead or dying Sorplecs as well as Haborm, Sands, Peom, Dirki, Meseums, and many others. The sky was ablaze with every color known to man and even the clouds glowed green and purple.

“ What’s happening?” asked Harci as he eyed the carnage.

“ What always happens in wars, somebody dies. We need to help, but for Goarote’s sake which side is which? Every ship is on fire or blown to pieces,” asked Ohgood as he clutched Mench and she put her hand to her mouth and looked up at Ohgood.

“ There’s no way to tell, we’ll have to wait it out right here,” said Harci then he raised his staff and shouted,” unseen unnoticed shine and sheen!”

Then the Croul was cloaked and disappeared from view.

“ What did you do, Harci?” asked Ratie perplexed as she frowned and crinkled her forehead while she rubbed her forearm.

“ I gave us invisibility, now we won’t be attacked. Let’s face it this could take awhile,” said Harci as he nodded to Ratie.

“ Well, I think that’s an understatement look at all that death. They should put floating cemeteries in the sky for all those lost lives,” said Famaron breathlessly as he put his hand to his mouth and blew on it softly.

“ What, do you know the logistical nightmare that would be? All the individual grave stones that would have to be made then have spells cast on them. I’m sick just thinking about it and I haven’t eaten, where’s my steak stick?” asked Ohgood sarcastically as he looked at everyone who was laughing with his hands up.

“ I ate ‘em you little brat, go make me a cake extra tasty. How’s that hit ya, in the eye or the groin?” asked Mench sarcastically as she motioned with her hands for Ohgood to go to the kitchen and he looked at her wide eyed and with his mouth agape.

“ You little waste of good genes. How ‘bout I find said cake and teach it some names so it won’t interrupt the grownups when they’re hungry. Now get up and find me some steak sticks or I’m throwin’ you down the garbage shoot,” said Ohgood softly and sarcastically as he nodded quickly and had a goofy wide smile on his face and Mench tried not to laugh and then stood up and slapped Ohgood’s butt twice.

“ If you’ll take me to said garbage shoot I’ll gladly jump in together. And when we’re covered in scraps I’ll know you were the man for me, cause that’s love, garbage style,” said Mench in a sultry voice sarcastically as she kissed Ohgood’s cheek and smirked.

“ Well at least we’ll have garbage, most people don’t get that, Menchy. And those soup and half eaten sandwich bits on our lips as we kiss, will prove we were meant to be,” said Ohgood in a sultry voice sarcastically then he grabbed Mench’s butt firmly and she let out a brief yell and smiled.

“ Do they always go back and forth like this?” asked Epam perplexed as he tapped Famaron on the shoulder.

“ No, just in between seconds and after worldwide child births. The rest of the time it’s without a word of whimsy,” said Famaron sarcastically as he tried not to laugh and then saw a string of massive explosions in front of them in the battlesky as 6 Sorplec Meheluxs and 5 Konno’s were hit by a Sands wizard’s series of spells and Famaron said softly,” things are starting to get contentious out there. We may be near a conclusion of sorts.”

“ How will we know when it’s over?” asked Ratie honestly as she watched a bloody dragon spiral down into the Bloodlet.

“ When the green sunlight disappears. That will constitute a Sorplec surrender, but they’ll fight for a good while before their passion fades,” said Solcrist coldly as he sipped a glass of Seesoo.

Then there was a huge purple Sarg that began ripping a Haborm battleship to pieces by thrusting its claws into it again and again. It pulled out 2 Haborm wizards and bit them in half. Their bloodied bodies shot out a green plume of magical energy that created a green rain shower. The rain was so thick little could be seen by anyone.

“ O.K., what is going on out there? Look at that sight, it’s unbelievable!” said Ohgood boldly and in disbelief as he let go of Mench and walked over to Famaron and Epam and saw the Sarg grab a dragon and swing it like a club and splatter it against the side of a Mehelux.

“ It’s the last of our humanity and the beginning of our new reality. Whether we know it or not we may be on the losing end of the greatest war of all time. It’s like that character form the children’s book Hans or Hars, Hars Gemlittle,” said Famaron quickly and then said coldly,” remember old Hars and how he fought a war with his brothers and sisters only to not know he had lost the war with the Halbaltic gang until all of his family was dead and only he remained fighting for nothin’. We may be living that right now, look at all those crashing ships they could be ours and we could be dead already. It sure is putrid to know that irony exists, especially when it’s your life that’s so bleedin’ ironic!”
