“I will not allow him to go unreprimanded for his wrongdoings; I also will not break any more of our people’s laws by killing someone of royal blood such as Prince Valentine or the wizard fledgling. We are unable banish him because he is our only heir, my only son.” The king announced to the royal court of the Coven and its attending subjects.

The queen stood and faced her husband with a strong respect demanding look in her eyes “Just think though, this young wizard boy turned vampire could become a powerful asset to all of us in this war! Imagine” She continued while turning to the onlookers “to have someone on our side with so much power, someone who can possibly use it like any other wizard might, or if we have luck on our side he will be able to use it in a new more powerful way. With him we could win this war without shedding anymore of our own blood, we could dominate those that appose us; we could come out of hiding and become the masters of the entire world as we should have been since our conception in this world.”

The king looked at his wife sternly and gestured for her to sit down immediately “Despite any of that well reasoned optimism my dear wife, our son Prince Valentine has broken a high law that is punishable by death for most other vampires. Under the current circumstances though in this war we cannot afford to give up any chance of power that has any possibility in assisting us to further the Covens own agenda. Send for my son now, as well as the fledgling wizard. We will speak with them shortly and see if we can get the justice we seek as well as find a use for this boy to our advantage.” The king sat down waving the guards to follow his orders.
