tears after hearing about what happened to Lucy. He went in to check on the little girl, who was sleeping on a twin-sized bed, clutching tightly to the blanket that was wrapped around her. He knew that the guitarist couldn’t take care of her; no one in the town could, or else someone would have done something by now. If he left her here, nothing would change for her. If he took her, life would be harder on the both of them.
Before the alchemist had fallen asleep that night, he had made his decision on what to do with the little girl. That was a month ago; now, the young alchemist was staring at a lovely sunrise just outside of a German city. He smiled as Lucy crawled out of the tent, asking him when the two of them would be getting breakfast.
Lucy would cry at night; it was clear that she was having nightmares about losing her family. Over the few days that the two of them had been together though,, the alchemist could tell that they have weakened in severity. Lucy would also become much more talkative, but only with him. The two of them became wanderers of the world, unaware of what the future held for them. For a long time, the alchemist believed that nothing in this world was certain, but he at the very least knew that he would no longer be alone.
