hopefully as maneuvered his way to the window.
“What did you say happens if we touch the green square?” asked Bill slowly.
“You didn’t!” challenged Lucifer. Lucifer and Bill peered down outside the window at Heaven. Except Heaven was gone—he was staring at the cratered surface of the far side of the moon and a thousand confused jellyfish.
“You really hit the green square,” groaned Lucifer as he leaned back and shut his eyes.
“Where—where did it go?” asked Bill frantically.
“Hitting the green square sends Heaven into another dimension,” hissed Lucifer.
“Is—is that bad?” stuttered Bill. Movement caught his eye and Bill turned to look as a human popped into existence in the space next to the VW Bug, where Heaven would have been.
Lucifer watched the person flailing their arms and legs as they floated in space, their cheeks bulging with air.
“Very bad,” affirmed Lucifer.
