“He’s gaining altitude and circling the field.” She replied.

  Two men with video cameras were standing behind Chet with their lenses trained at the sky. Next to them was a network van with its side door open. Inside was the producer who sat watching several monitors and operating equipment. Alan stopped next to Chet, and bent over grabbing his knees breathing hard.

  “We arrived, just after the Sheriff, and set up,” Chet said with a smile. “We got the whole chase videoed.”

  Just then the producer stepped out of the van. “We’ve got the satellite link with the network. We’re breaking into normal broadcasting in fifteen seconds. Camera two, stay on the plane. Camera one, you’re on Green and Bradley,” She ordered. One of the cameramen lowered his camera and focused in on the two men.

  “Wait, let me catch my breath,” Alan pleaded.

  “Sorry, there’s no time,” She replied.

  Alan stood up and Chet helped brush him off.
