When the Haborm poet Dulsto Gudpen spoke of the endless wars on Permea he wrote the poem,” Permea, we could have been friends,” and it went as such,” Every time I extended my hand you met me with fists. Then as I lay reeling in a bloody heap you told me just this. I would have been ever friends if the price weren’t so great, as to have to be dying in a mind without hate. No friend, we’ll glare and change course, for neither of us can accept the riderless horse of a soldier lastly scorched in a world of old grievances warm.”

Dulsto believed that excess would never bring down society, only a rudderless boat as he called the endless killing and power taking of a thousand meaningless wars. He also said of God’s wrath,” He won’t throw a punch or sully a blow of any kind if you have found his anger. Instead the water will fill with shards of glass and an endless storm will start with no end in sight. Then as all men’s fears subside a fire filled fissure in the planet’s surface will open and open still. By the time the last man suffocates as he prays for God’s help God will have already forgotten Permea and all he let live on her.”

Famaron, Ratie, Ohgood, Mench, Solcrist, Epam, Harci, and Siex were at Panscam castle in the valley of Powhi. The castle looked like a pair of potato barrels put side by side, with a clear red glass observation deck in between them joining the 2 structures. The castle stood 1 mile into the clouds and had a series of flashing multi colored lights all over its black marble walls as it was filled with a massive

super computer. There were a pair of hangar bays on the front and back, that had hundreds of ships darting in and out of them. There were plumes of green electricity shooting out of the roof of the castle as a thrashing metallic rock song sent music in every direction. The castle was owned by Siex’s friend Panscam Joog, who was an aloof wealthy ruler over a scientists colony called the Branics. The Branics were on a mission to advance society by thousands of years thru inspired technology. They had in recent years developed a small disc that you put on your tongue and would dissolve turning your neural pathways into a neural speedway increasing a person’s brain function to 87 percent.

Inside the observation deck at Panscam everyone was lying on black recliners staring up at a virtual reenactment of the battle of Epu, which was a century’s old battle between the Pocans and the Iasa. The 2 people’s lived in the mountain community of Tuco and battled relentlessly for control over the sacred ground that lay between a pair of large mountains called Pure Las, as it was the last spot Las Gog had been seen alive. Las being a wizard of joyous magic, which gave everyone near him an indescribable happiness and consisted of one word spells hummed over the course of 3 notes.

The observation deck was vast and had dozens of living rooms, kitchens, and even bedrooms divided only by heat sensitive glass that could be breathed on and turn black or clear depending on what you wanted. The walls of the room were covered in a thick black and gold wallpaper and had the smell of wild flowers on them.

“ This war is so vicious. Why do they have to kill each other in war? Why don’t they just flip a coin and let that decide the outcome?” asked Ratie sarcastically as she watched the Pocans getting blasted by the Iasa with grenades that killed hundreds of them one right after another.

“ Because that’d he too easy. Nobody wants to hang their heads in shame after it’s been chopped off by an ax. Don’t you know anything you’ve got to kill hundreds of people so the guy at the top can sleep at night,” said Ohgood sarcastically as he used a stern voice and nodded at Ratie and Mench laughed.

“ So you’re saying wars are like sex. Ya know I want to have sex with Ohgood all the time, but he wants to wait ‘til we leave for Lada cause he’s all stressed out,” said Mench in a deep voice as she spoke sarcastically and Ohgood grinned and looked at her wide eyed.

“ Yeah sex is like war. I read that somewhere. I think it was on the back of a condom,” said Ohgood sarcastically as he nodded happily at Mench then kissed her and said,” alright, you want some robo Ohgood love, we’ll lose these itchy clothes after the movie hmmm.”

Then Mench kissed Ohgood and said flatly,” Fine, another 2 hours to wait for 5 seconds of love.”

“ 8 seconds, and I’m talkin’ wild passionate embarrassing love. The kind they have in boring movies about proper techniques, which I’ve seen them all 700 times, nice huh,” said Ohgood slyly as he grinned oafishly and gently tapped Mench’s cheek and then she laughed and shook her head.

“ Those films are for idiots. I’m not a robot just give me your best shot and I’ll be happy,” said Ratie jokingly as she used a deep voice and put her hand to her mouth like a megaphone and everyone laughed.

Meanwhile in the movie a savage hand to hand bloody battle was taking place on Pure Las, as a trio of green marble temples were being smashed to pieces by large laser bats. The scene looked almost comical as left and right heads were being decapitated and limbs lost. Then a tiny blue skinned wizard floated above the Malay and he was named Maupae. Then Maupae pulled a globe of green light from his pocket in his blue robe and tossed it at the combatants. When it hit them they all froze in their tracks and were unable to continue fighting or even move a muscle. Then Maupae began to sing softly and a red energy came out of his mouth and went into the eyes of the Pocans and the Iasa. Then Maupae said softly,” You will all know me from now on as Maupae. I will not allow any of you to kill another soul or the energy that just entered your eyes will kill you dead up until the day I die.

“ Cool, this movie is heatin’ up and I can tell I’ll like this Maupae,” said Ratie enthusiastically as she clapped her hands like a baby seal.

Then a giant sword shot thru the back of Maupae and a geyser of blood shot forward as he writhed back and forth spastically. And then the Pocans and the Iasa began to cheer behind Maupae floated Pocan general Fofau with a devious smile on his face. Fofau was 6 feet tall and had dark red hair and blonde curly beard, as well as golden glowing eyes. He had on a red and black swirling robe and had a white 8 foot ivory staff, with a sunken handgrip that had the words,” When I lost you, I found me,” carved into the sides and filled in with gold inlays.

“ Now that the trash has been jettisoned how about some war!” thundered Fofau snidely then he shot a stream of white flames at 3 Iasa soldiers and burned them down to only bones.

“ This movie sucks, I’m gonna miss you Maupae,” said Ratie in disbelief as she frowned and thought about how suckered she felt and how gleeful Ohgood looked.

“ I won’t miss Maupae like a good kick in the butt as I’m standing at the top of a flight of stairs. That said, I’ll miss you Maupae, you were a hero,” said Ohgood jokingly as he put his hands behind his head and thought about how angry and nervous Ratie looked and smiled to himself.

Meanwhile Fofau was casting spell after spell and massive beasts were tearing the Iasa to pieces like a half dragon half snake called a Horain, that also had a robot head. Then Horain grabbed a pair of Iasa and began smashing their bodies together repeatedly as their bones and organs were pressed flat.

“ That was a good maneuver by that beast. I always wondered why I always wonder,” said Mench slyly as she rubbed her inner thigh and let out a loud sigh.

“ I never did, can you blame you, I can,” said Ohgood slyly as he held back laughter and Mench rolled her eyes and laughed.

“ Hey, boobsickle, I’m trying to watch a movie I hate, enough of the yapity yap,” said Ratie sarcastically as she frowned and Ohgood laughed slightly and then Ratie said coyly,” I know you slept thru the rules of proper movie watching so I’ll just say this, Bonesbeatle, huh.”

Meanwhile in the movie Fofau was flying in and around the Iasa shooting them in the ears with a strong electrical charge and frying their neural pathways. This caused them to stop fighting and stare aimlessly at the sun, then they were quickly killed by the Pocans.

  Af
ter 2 hours of watching the movie it showed the Pocans standing victoriously on Pure Las as the sun was setting. Fofau floated above the ground a few feet and then said snidely,” The last of the day old bread has been cooked in our Iasa stew, but it’s a meal we won’t serve to a single Pocan, as our feast is on glory and righteousness. Now my brothers, now is where the authors of history have written our names. This was our taking of treachery and casting it down a chasm of endless depth. Where they lie now, these Iasa scoundrels, is on a large bed of death with spikes of destiny piercing their backs. What’d the poet say, a brave man is a writer of songs, and a coward the one who can’t hear the music. Let’s sing awhile!” shouted Fofau boldly as he raised his staff and a single tear slid out of his left eye.

“ Now that is an ending, wow what a speech,” said Famaron happily as he pumped his fist and clenched his jaw.

“ Heaven, pure movie heaven. The way the director kept the battle as an evolving thing throughout the film, from terror to almost comical, perfect,” said Mench as she stretched out her arms and sat forward.

“ Ya know I didn’t think I’d like it after the Maupae incident, but now I’m lovin’ this movie,” said Ratie as she stood up and rubbed her neck and smiled as everyone stood up.

Then in walked Panscam Joog with a black case in his hands made of marble and canoe shaped. Panscam was 5’10” and 223 pounds with a round belly and narrow shoulders. He had dark green and black mid length hair and a clean shaven face. He also had dark green eyes with a red square surrounding the iris. He had on a black satin suit with a dark red cashmere sweater, as well as a pair of purple canvas dress shoes.

“ Panscam, how are you?” asked Siex as he walked up to Panscam and patted him on the shoulder and smiled.

“ Much better now, we’ve been able to implement emperor Venge’s defense grid on every inch of Permea. If there is anyone who tries to destroy her it will have to be from within,” said Panscam in an almost southern voice and with a hint of rasp as his perpetual smoking habit.

Famaron stood up and walked over to Panscam and then said happily,” That’s great news, we needed that done before our vacation. What do you have in your hands there?” asked Famaron as he eyed the canoe shaped case quizzically and squinted.

“ These, emperor, are a new start, a new solution, and the only thing I could think to give you on the verge of your coronation. Have a look,” said Panscam as he handed Famaron the case and as his hands touched it a swirling green and red vortex engulfed Famaron as everyone looked on in shock.

“ What’s happening?” asked Famaron as his entire body glowed green and he began to float above the ground.

The case itself had a round hole open up in it and revealed a dark blue marble gold encrusted ring of Nashas.

Nashas was a heretic from the 7th century that believed that god was lazy and had left thousands of loose ends on Permea. He believed this accounted for all the wars and injustice in the world as the host of imperfections god left in his original plan for life led to a constant state of misunderstanding what god had intended. He said that it wasn’t god’s job to care for how people lived their lives, as those very same lives he gave them. Nashas had a belief about god that suggested it amused him that people got led astray, as he felt the people who would or could had every tragedy that came their way. Nashas was torn to shreds by a half dozen dragons for punishment for speaking ill of the then religious governing body, known as the Orealius council.

The Orealius council believed that god lived in every person on Permea, but only up to the point they set to destroy another person by death, rape, or having a part in blocking their dreams. They also had a series of radical beliefs such as the,” Unyielding Rant,” that included the paragraph,” when we are the bringers of death and the receivers are those who feel us trivial, then we have only defended our core selves and this was our right from birth. When laughter brings unyielding pain for one while many feel glee, then the bloody hammer of death should be swung meeting their smiling faces head on.” The council dissolved after the conclusion had come that an organized religion fails itself if it forces itself on others so as to make one religion. Its members disappeared into a host of different occupations and were never heard from again.

“ You’re seeing the light, don’t worry you will not be injured,” said Panscam calmly as Famaron spun down to the floor and a thousand gold coins shot out from him.

Then as the vortex shot out of the room Famaron stood still and then asked happily,” I feel great, what in the sex was that?”

“ It was your first giant step towards the future. Take the ring from the case and put it on. It is the ring of Nashas and will give you the power to do various spells without having to cast them. One of the spells

will allow you to pass thru a doorway and be transported to any door you’ve passed thru before just by thinking of it,” said Panscam warmly as he grinned slightly and watched as Famaron looked at the ring.

“ That is so fascinating and would help if I ever needed to escape a foe. Let’s try it out,” said Famaron as he reached in and pulled out the ring and then put it on and said,” now what.”

Then his body turned into a ball of electrical red flames and sent out a helix of tiny threads up in the air. Then it stopped abruptly and Famaron caught the multi colored thread helix and smiled as Panscam said happily,” You are filled with a bounty of new powers. It will take some practice and time to unravel them all as they are different for every person who wears the ring.”

“ Am I in any danger with this ring on?” asked Famaron slyly as he looked at the glowing orange ring and squinted.

“ You aren’t, but if someone attacks you they certainly would be. Now when will you be leaving us?” asked Panscam honestly as he gave everyone a warm look.

“ Right now, my ship is filled with supplies and docked outside,” said Siex as he pulled a single golden cigarette from his pocket and lit it by sucking on it, causing a small explosion to go off in the tip.

“ What of your coronation, aren’t you supposed to be going to that soon?” asked Ratie as she wiped off her butt and quickly raised her eyebrows and smirked.

“ Well, is there any way we could postpone it until I get back?” asked Famaron softly as he looked up at Panscam who nodded yes.

“ Ye s of course, emperor, it will be just so, I regret that I can’t go with you as my people need me, but I wish you a safe trip and a glorious return,” said Panscam warmly as he patted Famaron on the shoulder and smirked.

“ I appreciate that and we will miss you greatly, Panscam,” said Famaron as he gave Panscam a stern look.

“ Thank you, emperor, let the void of space fill with the songs of your heart, goodbye everyone,” said Panscam as he turned and walked out of the observatory while everyone waved.

“ I didn’t know you could sing, is that one note or two?” asked Ohgood sarcastically then Famaron and Mench laughed as Epam hummed loudly.

“ It’s 4 bars of drunken symphonies and nothing but,” said Famaron quickly as he grinned at Ohgood.

Then everyone made their way to Siex’s ship and prepared to launch. Meanwhile on the equator of Permea near the Blude white ocean stood Bahrum, Pumrask, Alovio, Banda, and Simis the Terrible at the edge of a massive magical geyser. There were 8 statues of the prophet Badus surrounding the geyser on the small island of Cootonu. The island itself was dotted with sunflower shaped red and yellow prison housing for wizards who’d gone astray and done unspeakable atrocities. Each of the homes were surrounded by an invisible force field of magic that prevented them from escaping as if they touched they would have their bodies shattered to a million pieces. There were bright orange and purple grasses and large bushes all over the island with a 12 mile wide mowed purple grass circular field in the center of the island that was perfectly flat
and had outdoor living rooms set up here and there for the Popo people as they were called, that lived on the island.

Badus was well known for his knowledge of scripture for young people, that included the words,” Well you screwed it up good. The time I spent teaching you of manhood was wasted as everyone’s your friend but god. Maybe in between games and sugary drinks you’d give him a thought as I’m sure as he watches over you constantly, he’d be overjoyed if you did. Maybe your brother or sister could use a hug as well seeing they’re only your family and feel pain the same as you. And when you’re done building

your mud castle will there be a kiss or hug for your parents, because god feels every person’s hugs as they give them, too.” Badus later wrote to his sister that he feared he’d squandered his life because he didn’t see god as a friend until later in life and should’ve known all along. He created a huge spell around his house in his later years so as to keep his many followers at bay. Just before he died he published,” The last psalm,” which included the passage,” when the truly lonely man or woman find god as their friend. Not only are they never alone again, they never were. Reach with you and reach back the many ensues. When there was no one around and streets seemed to darken god stands right beside and smiles.”

“ We can try this method to rid Permea of all wizards and if it fails then no matter, as they failed us a thousand fold. Isn’t it funny when the bringers of joy shout mercy!” said Simis the Terrible snidely as he glared at the magical geyser and laughed to himself as everyone looked on nervously.

Simis the Terrible stood 6’9” and weighed 456 pounds of bulging muscles and a disproportionate large head. He had seal black long curly hair and a stark white curly beard. His eyes were red and fierce some and had tiny circular clouds floating in the center. He had a large triangular scar in the center of his forehead with a tattoo of a dragon holding the world in the center of it. He had on a lush red velvety jacket and a dark brown cotton dress shirt underneath, with blue marble buttons. He also had on black satin trousers with a lighter black silk spiral up the right leg. He also had on thin black leather boots and a pair of off white sunglasses with only one lense.

“ It will be funny if it works. Otherwise we’ll be dead. Are you sure destroying the source of all magic on Permea is a smart move?” asked Alovio sternly as she grimaced at Simis who burst out laughing and slapped his knee.

“ What difference does it make? If we don’t they’ll eventually hunt us down and kill us. Let’s have a bit of fun,” said Simis snidely as he reached into his pocket and produced a small marble dragon with a glass stomach that showed a cauldron of flames and a tiny wizard inside named Sform Bodagi.

Sform Bodagi was an ancient healer and spell caster of good helpful spells who met his demise when a Sorplec woman named Goga cast a spell on him that altered his shape and size then she created a miniature world called Crasu and put him and it in the dragon case. The world was filled with a pure form of magic called Girfu, that if the case was ever opened could cause catastrophic repercussions.

“ Are we really doing this, Simis, what if it doesn’t work like you planned?” asked Pumrask nervously as he felt ill at ease with the look on Simis’ s face.

“ Then we’ll die or go to some other reality. So what, if I can’t have the world I want, I’ll make the world want me,” said Simis snidely as he eyed the geyser and grinned to himself then tossed in the marble dragon ad Sform along with it.

Then the dragon shot downward thru the magical energy and as it did more and more of the marble wore off as a blue plume began to shot out of it.

“ Why hasn’t anything happened yet? Nothing seems to have changed,” asked Bahrum as he shook his head and looked at Simis who was smiling.

“ Yes, where is this magic you promised us, Simis?” asked Banda as she yawned and glared at Simis as a small burst of fire shot out of her nose.

“ Patience my friends, we must accept that everything is going to change and soon. For if we don’t the worst things in life will seek us out and destroy our souls,” said Simis softly as he eyed the geyser and then looked up at Pumrask who nodded yes.

“ Well that’s what smart people always say before they’re blown to pieces,” said Alovio in disbelief as she put on a brave face and ran her fingers thru her hair.

“ Then how would you ever know. Just a few seconds more and something astounding will happen and I’ll be the first to see it,” said Simis greedily as he could hardly contain his glee as he pictured wizards all over Permea trying to cast spells and nothing happening.

Meanwhile the marble dragon was nearly worn down to the world of Crasu and Sform who was screaming violently as he realized what was about to happen. Then the marble cracked and a magical explosion occurred equal to 30,000 nuclear bombs that sent millions of random spells in every direction as well as a wave of dark green and yellow that shot out in every direction first vaporizing Banda, Bahrum, Pumrask, Alovio, and Simis. Then the wave spread out over the Blude ocean and sent spears of gold into the water, as it did that and were 50 feet wide and 500 feet long that shot down into the water killing all of the marine life and rocketed towards Permea’s core. As the wave continued every ship and city in its way was turned into thousands upon thousands of different spells like a city of Haborm that were changed into piles of diamond dust and vats of dragon innards. Then a shrieking sound began to shoot out in front of the wave that killed all who heard it by shattering their brains. Then a massive pair of black stone balls shot out of the sides of the wave and went thru every person and thing in their path flattening them to a pile beneath them as well as leveling skyscrapers that had the misfortune of being in their path.

“ Hey, Ratie, do you want 3 tuna sammies or only 8?” asked Ohgood in a little kids voice jokingly as he showed Ratie a white rubber plate of Rainems sandwiches.

Rainems were a 5 layered meat, cheese, and rare mayonnaise called Tucyou, that were filled with abundant flavor and only a brief aftertaste.

Ohgood and Ratie were on the bridge of the Croul as it rose above the clouds and headed for Lada.

“ Ohgood, stop being such a turdhead you’re wearing me out already,” said Ratie in exasperation as she looked at Ohgood and shook her head and then saw the wave of magic coming towards them and said in disbelief,” Ohgood, there is a horror coming. Quick tell Siex!”

Then Ohgood saw it and raced over to the next room where Siex was playing a video game called,” Warrior,” which was a fighting game where you started fighting as a child and every subsequent level you grew in size and power until you competed in Gasma world championship maze against whoever else made it there. This meant you played against fellow gamers from other planets as well as Permea. The winner got a host of prizes including their very own Mehelux that had been tricked out with hundreds of amenities.

The room Siex was in was a half holographic video arcade and half workout room and gym, that had a triangle of games set up around the outside of the room. It also had the gym in the center of the room on a floating platform that had a skylight above it shaped like a hand. The floors of the room were covered in air suction blue rug that prevented any dirt or dust from being trampled around.

“ Siex, Famaron, there’s something coming out way and it looks toxic,” said Ohgood frantically as he looked at the 2 of them playing Warrior and then realized he was right and set down their swords and laser pistols and hurried over to him.

“ Is it a ship, a dragon what?” asked Siex quickly as he ran over to Ohgood with Famaron right beside.

“ It looks like some sort of magic and is destroying everything in its path, look there it is,” said Ohgood breathlessly as he pointed to the wave speeding towards them in the hologram of outside of the ship.

Siex froze in his tracks and Famaron asked,” What is it, Siex, are you alright?

“ It’s the magic stream near the Blude, oh no someone has blown it up!” said Siex in disbelief as he put his hand to his sweaty forehead and grimaced.

“ What does that mean?” asked Ratie quickly as she grimaced at Siex who was slumped over on one of the couches.

“ It means we’ll figure it out later. I’m getting us outta here,” said Famaron sternly as he ran over and grabbed the control joystick and began firing the jet thrusters at maximum speed and the ship rocketed up thru the atmosphere as the wave swept past where they just were.

“ It’s all lost now, Ratie, anyone who isn’t on this ship right now and is still on Permea, is dead or dying. You asked what it means…it means our little vacation is now a permanent exodus. And my precious Permea is a wasteland of death. They asked us to take care of them and we messed it up, Ratie, how can we ever be forgiven for our carelessness?” asked Siex sadly as he began to weep and watched Permea being rapidly destroyed and felt sick to his stomach.

“ It’s not our fault, Siex, we did all we could,” said Ratie softly as she sat down beside Siex and put her arm around him and then said warmly,” the good people should never take the blame for the terrible. I know you just lost your home world, but oh my god it was our world too, so I know how you feel, honestly.”

“ I don’t blame you, Ratie, or any of you, but I…” said Siex as he cried and couldn’t say another word as he thought of his people and all the friends he’s lost.

Then in walked Solcrist and as he saw Ohgood look at him he knew something bad had happened and asked hopefully,” What villainy has happened that finds you all this way?”

“ The worst of it, Permea is being destroyed as we speak by a massive magical wave. The point is we’re heading to Lada and we aren’t coming back,” said Famaron as he punched the couch beside him as he thought of how grim his future was again and how he’d lost another world he would’ve been ruler of.

“ This can’t be we destroyed all the Sorplecs. Who could have done this?” asked Solcrist as he looked at massive explosions on Permea and flashes of light in hundreds of miles of red flames and purple and green dragon shaped smoke and felt terrified at losing his home world again.

“ Could it have been an accident?” asked Ratie sincerely as she rubbed Siex’s back.

“ No, there would have had to have been a large powerful spell or some form of magic to set it off. No this was intentional,” said Siex as he tried to stop crying.

“ I know who did this. It had to be those Sorplecs that flew out over the Bloodlet and disappeared from sight. We should have tried harder to find them that was a giant error on our part,” said Famaron sadly as he let out a loud sigh and gritted his teeth.

“ Oh no, it was them wasn’t it. That just, ahh this is so troubling it’s hurting my head. I need to get a break from so much drama in my life,” said Ratie as she grimaced and put her head on Siex’s shoulder as she teared up.

“ There is no point harping on it or letting it tear us apart. We need to accept it and have faith that there’s something better out there for us. We found Permea and we’ll find a new world that will still make sense,” said Ohgood enthusiastically as he gave everyone a nod and they nodded back.

“ There’s always this Lada. They have magic there and Babes would seem to me to be a potential ally and friend,” said Famaron as he stood up quickly and glanced over at Ohgood.

“ Yes, that’s what I’m talking about. We’ll search her out and then we aid one another in overthrowing their government,” said Siex honestly as he looked at Famaron and gave him a stern look.

“ Now, Siex, we are talking my language. All’s a man needs is a plan and fate takes over. When we get to Lada we’ll find Babes then help her overthrow the ruler. Then she’ll aid me in becoming its new ruler. What a day what a day,” said Famaron happily as he began to smile and pat his chest.

Then in walked Harci and said sadly,” You don’t need to tell me what happened I saw from the lower level. So apparently we’re homeless,” said Harci implying a question as he looked at Famaron.

“ We are, but we have options. Our travel plans haven’t changed only now we’re taking over Lada and Famaron will succeed at ruler. How ‘bout it, Harci, you feel like a revolution?” asked Ohgood slyly as he tried not to smile as Harci shook his head and let out a grunt.

“ I’m always ready, but what is our plan to help us take over Lada?” asked Harci as he rubbed his forehead and tried not to think of all the things he’s lost.

“ The woman from my hallucination, her name being Babes will aid us in our takeover. She doesn’t know it yet, but she will!” said Famaron excitedly as he walked over to Harci and gently tapped his shoulder and smiled while Harci grinned cautiously and laughed.

“ So it’s another bit of taking over the world to look forward to. Well at least there’s that,” said Harci begrudgingly and he forced a smile while Famaron put his arm around him.

“ There always is, just think of it like a board game only with real people. Trust me it’s fun,” said Ohgood slyly as he smiled at Harci and pulled out a large bottle of red wine and gently rubbed the self opening cork and then asked slyly,” is anybody thirsty? I feel we should unwind after all the world

destruction and all,” asked Ohgood as he grabbed a handful of crystal glasses from the armrest of the couch and then began to pour a few cups.

“ Yes I think we should, thank you, Ohgood,” said Solcrist as Ohgood handed him a glass of wine and he then said hopefully,” boy we’re heading off into the void of space with a compass of despair. I just hope we don’t lose our rudder and catch a foul breeze.

“ This is true, Solcrist, we’ll need to catch a few breaks before it’s all said and done. But that said it’s time for random thoughts,” said Ohgood then he walked up to Ratie and said sarcastically,” I once saw you sleeping and I tried to put your whole head in my mouth. And I’m not sorry, little sis, cause that head’s chocolaty, Solcrist,” then Ohgood walked over to Solcrist who was laughing and said sarcastically,” I was the one who tried on your underwear and left grass stains on all of your shirts. Now my mind is clear and I love it.”

Solcrist fought back laughter and then said jokingly,” Ohgood, I’ll never forgive you as long as my delicates last. That random thought only pales on comparison to this one. Sarg skin is but one of the treats I’ve dined on and Ratie neck will be the next.”

“ What!” said Ratie in shock as Ohgood and Famaron laughed and then she said slyly,” Ratie neck is off limits you turd counting old sack of pea soup! You think I’d let you near my soft neck then your dreamin.”

“ So it’s a yes?” asked Solcrist coyly as he tried not to laugh and moved closer to Ratie.

Ratie looked at him wide eyed and then smiled and said sarcastically,” Alright, geezer who needs ya, come on in for a little kissy kiss as I know your hot stuff. What, you couldn’t hear me ask ya cause your ears are filled with 30 year old wax. Well maybe that’s tough, and I don’t mean luck.”

Solcrist looked at her longingly and breezed over to her. Then he gently put his hands on her shoulders and kissed her softly and then said warmly,” I’ve never had better, thank you, Ratie.”

Ratie looked up at him and made a goofy face and then said breathlessly,” Boy you really laid a whopper on me didn’t ya.”

“ Yes, yes I did, I’ve been known to do that sort of thing. I can only promise you it won’t be the last,” said Solcrist slyly as he gently smiled and Ratie laughed while Famaron just smiled.

“ Well it just gets weirder and weirder I can’t wait to see this Lada they’ll probably burn us at the steak,” said Famaron jokingly as he threw up his hands and made a child like shriek.

“ Let them try, and I’ll burn their planet black!” said Epam
coldly as he floated down from the ceiling and gave everyone a nod and then said slyly,” I think someone on Permea said something similar before they cooked it. My how people destroy beauty and replace it with things,” said Epam softly as he floated over to Ohgood and gently poked him in the belly and Ohgood laughed to himself.

“ It’s those very things that propel a person’s will to succeed. So it’s a double edged sword,” said Harci thoughtfully as he wondered when he’d be able to relax again.

“ Just don’t stab me with it, I’m lactose intolerant as well as sword intolerant. So be careful it could kill me,” said Ohgood sarcastically as he clutched his stomach quick like he’d been stabbed and made a face like he was in agony and everyone laughed except for Ratie so Ohgood looked up and asked,” what’s up your butt, Ratie, is it chives again?”

“ What, oh yeah chives, no I was just thinking of Solcrist’s kiss. You really caught me by surprise,” said Ratie happily as she looked longingly over at Solcrist and he squinted and gave a slight smile and nodded softly.

“ Ya know we’ve got a long trip, I’m gonna head back down to the movie theater and finish watching,” And the Crimson lie,” see ya everyone,” said Harci as he hurried out of the room to give Solcrist and Ratie a chance to talk.

And the Crimson lie, was a 3D movie based on a Peom order of wizards who hid their magic from people as they secretly began practicing I.D.M., which stood for Inter Dimensional Magic. I.D.M. involved fighting wars and carrying out assassinations of powerful rulers and wizards in other dimensions. After they did this they put one of their members as the new ruler. Then they made life a living hell for every person they ruled over and they saw it their right because of the abuse that they’d taken, that they tell every person under their rule how to live every aspect of their daily lives. And if anyone spoke up or out they were quickly destroyed as well as every member of their family and friends. They took such glee in these pursuits they soon began spying on every person they ruled over thru secret cameras in television sets, infrared cameras in neighbors homes, as well as high powered audio speakers to hear those not so private anymore conversations. Then they’d go back to Permea and pretend like nothing had happened or was and continue on like they were just like everyone else.

“ Hey I’ll come watch that bad Larry with ya seems like it will only bore me to death. And there should be snacks,” said Ohgood jokingly as he hurried after Harci as did Siex and Famaron.

“ How ‘bout you, Solcrist?” asked Siex as he suddenly stopped and looked back at Solcrist who was pacing back and forth.

“ I’ll catch up,” said Solcrist quickly as he glanced up at Siex and continued to pace.

“ Alright I’ll save you a seat!” yelled Siex as he darted out of the room.

Epam meanwhile sat there in mid-air as Solcrist and Ratie looked at him sternly and then Solcrist asked sharply,” Would you mind being somewhere else?”

“ Oh no…but if you’d like to be alone I’m all for that. I’ll see ya,” said Epam nervously then he touched down and walked out of the room as Solcrist made a nervous smile at Ratie and she grinned unfazed.

“ So you got me here, what’s on your mind?” asked Ratie slyly as she watched Solcrist continue to pace back and forth and then stopped.

“ Ratie, I know I am old and near death as you would say, but I have a large heart and a strong mind and would keep you safe for all time. This is not a fallacy I speak, it is the greatest truth ever told! I would no sooner drop dead then watch you experience a single moment of pain,” said Solcrist sharply as he glanced over at Ratie and then saw her sitting there quietly and stopped and asked,” so what has you so quiet, that is not you?”

Ratie sat back and grimaced and then began to tear up as she thought of what he said. And then she said tearfully,” I don’t know why you want old me, or would go to the trouble of saying all that…, but I know you mean it and it wasn’t easy to say. I’d just like to say I’m sorry for what I’ve said to you in the past if it hurt you at all, but it’s just the way I am, I mean it,” said Ratie as Solcrist sat down beside her and put his arm around her.

“ Ratie, I love you just so and never any other way. If you torment me for 30 years, they will be joyous torments. Nobody’s perfect and all people have flaws, that’s why they are people and not gods ya see,” said Solcrist warmly as Ratie wept and looked up at him.

“ Well, I agree that this is all true, Solcrist, I just don’t want to be alone anymore. I can’t take it anymore, I just…” said Ratie tearfully but Solcrist stopped her from talking with a deep kiss.

“ Ratie, you’ll never be alone again. I plan on outliving the sun so fear not,” said Solcrist boldly as Ratie smiled and then rubbed his cheeks and smiled.
