  Chapter 20 – Death Drink Tamas

  A few days went by and people continued with their regular day to day spiritual activities. Dustruds and the others like Pelmec and Jeneele and Guido were attending spiritual discourses by Brahm. Ugra was trying to teach Idaha the art of warfare and the way of using the Bow effectively.

  On the other hand Acura’s wax tower had been completely destroyed. The death drink was slowly rising and one by one gigantic Asuras were coming out of it and wrecking havoc inside the tower. At that precise moment the leader of the deemed souls Kalihan appeared in front of the few Asuras who had come out of Tamas and the Death Drink and gave a wild roar.

  He said “It is time we took over earth and became kings and start ruling over these tiny people who worship the so called Lord Visnu.”

  All of them gave a huge round of applause. The death drink was slowly rising it was just a matter of time before all of them would rise. The portal from the ‘Tamas’ to death drink connecting earth had been opened by Kalihan, so he knew that he was powerful enough to kill all of the good people of earth and take over the world. But God always has his plans, though it is not understandable to all, even to good people it takes sometime just like sunshine, for the goodness and the help of God to reach his devotees.

  The death drink was producing Asuras like cockroaches; they had multiplied by n number of times. It was now up to the demi-gods who had taken incarnation on earth to save the people and the earth from destruction.

  Acura on the other hand kept a secret meeting with Brahm, Ugra and the other Dustruds. The twins were enjoying their free time as they knew they had a lot of work to do after the war would begin.

  The plan was to attack the Asuras in a bloody way that they would not rise their ugly head again from the lowest world the ‘Tamas’, there was no other choice. The soft and tender hearted Gods had to do this for the welfare of the world.

  After their meeting was over, Idaha approached Brahm and asked him “My revered master, please let me know the reason why God allows these beings to take birth on earth when he knows that deemed souls would always create chaos on Earth?”

  Brahm gave a pleasant smile and said “This material world has been created by God Gabhiro for his own entertainment; it is a sport for God. This is all a suspended animation but at the same time there are rules to be followed, if a rule is broken then those souls which have breached the rules will have to take birth again in different species until they become perfect and attain Godhead.”

  Idaha asked “Then, what about souls like Kalihan and his friends?”

  Brahm said “They are all deemed souls, their inherent nature is of Tamas or ignorance completely, how much ever God tries to change them they will not change, hence God has created Tamas for their own good. These souls get attracted to ignorance and badness, so God cannot do anything so he has to send souls to their respective worlds where they are deemed fit. But at the same time he gives all souls a chance to perform actions according to their nature and all the events are orchestrated by God himself though the souls thinks that is has done everything.”

  Idaha was very much pleased and he went ahead and explained everything to the others. Vilom was staring as usual at Jeneele. Jeneele started laughing wildly and kissed Vilom on his cheek. Vilom was shocked.

  Jeneele said “I know you like me, I was waiting for you to become man enough to come and tell me this, but I guess sometimes the woman has to take upper hand.”

  The Dustruds who were watching this from a distance gave a huge round of applause. Idaha was happy that all of them had met their soul mates and he knew that their journey on Earth was almost over. But somewhere at the inner recesses of his mind he knew that God always would have his own plans.

  Near the wax tower it was a grave site. Animals were being butchered by the Asuras mercilessly and were enjoying the raw meat of animals. None of the animals were spared, why for that matter they were killing birds, reptiles and insects whatever they could lay their hands on.

  They were drinking the blood like cannibals. They were worse than cannibals. They knew nothing about Love; the only thing they knew was treating everyone with false ego and ruling over weak people and oppressing others. This was their inherent nature. How could God change them when they wanted to overthrow the position of God in heaven?

  The celestial worlds and other dimensions had become busy places. All of them were scared of the outcome of this war. Earth was the connector to the higher and lower worlds. They knew that whatever would happen on Earth would affect everything else except God Gabhiro’s heaven.

  The Asuras with Kalihan as their leader were growing ferocious with lot of negative energy getting stored up in their bodies. The only reprieve was that ‘Lord Brahm’ and ‘Lord Ugra’ invincible that they were had taken birth on earth so this was a soothing factor.

  Brahm and Ugra had never been defeated in war till date. Acura knew all of this but somewhere he was scared that this war should not take away the lives of Idaha and the others.

  The army was a huge one of the demi-gods. Acura thought for a while and gave a wild expression. He was perhaps very happy at the thought of having a formidable army, but now he had a problem, he did not want to wait for the Asuras to attack; he knew that some day or the other they would attack. He wanted to take the first step in this war.

  At that precise moment there was a voice from heavens, none of them knew who was speaking but whatever the voice told them was something very important. Kalihan was performing a sacrifice and this sacrifice would give him temporary immortality for a few days, so the voice asked them to attack the place near the Death Drink before they would attack them when the demi-god army would be slightly powerless when compared to the army of the Asuras.

  Acura wanted to attack immediately but thought calmly for a few minutes and addressed everybody who had gathered there after hearing the voice from heavens “Brahm, Ugra and I along with my father Sonste would go to the spot where the sacrifice is going on, in disguise. In the meanwhile he asked Vittal and the Dustruds to go to the ‘Blood Barracks’ near the ‘Kingdom of Bhuta’ to retrieve Lord Tindher’s ‘Triad’ capable of decimating the entire enemy army.

  Idaha and the others wanted to know what they were supposed to do. Brahm asked the five of them to go to the monastery where Idaha had retrieved the ‘Bow’ so as to get help from someone very special.

  Idaha asked “Something special? Could you please let us know what it is?”

  Brahm said “No anxiety, God Gabhiro is with every one of us. Go there and look for yourselves.”

  Idaha and the others paid their respect to the exalted souls and all of them left to complete their duties so that they could participate in the war.
